Here’s what some of our mothers say about their journey in our community.
I joined the Mom2Mom community just two months ago, and it has truly been a life-changing experience for me. Before joining, I had recently moved from a city where I had strong friendships to a place where I didn’t know anyone. Making new friends at my age hasn’t been easy—especially as an introvert. I longed for a space where I could connect with other women, share experiences, and grow. During a conversation with a friend, she suggested that I join Motherbyfaith's Mom2Mom group, and I’m so glad I did. From the very beginning, I found a genuine sisterhood here. People often say women don’t support one another, but my experience in this community has proven otherwise. The women in Mom2Mom are caring, empathetic, compassionate, and full of love. I enjoy our Wednesday conversations and always look forward to them, especially when I’m on break. The Friday prayer sessions are inspiring and spirit-filled! From day one, everyone was so warm and welcoming that I instantly felt safe to share and connect. Each conversation leaves me feeling inspired, supported, and truly understood. It’s amazing how, in such a short time, I’ve seen women open up with confidence and clarity. I’m deeply grateful for the information, encouragement, and wisdom that flow through this group. It’s become such a meaningful part of my life. I look forward to reading the heartfelt conversations and thoughtful recommendations every day. I feel blessed to be part of the Motherbyfaith's Mom2Mom community, and I pray that God continues to strengthen the administrators and coordinators who make this beautiful space possible.

When I came to Canada, I often wondered how I would ever settle into this new community. I had left everything and everyone familiar behind in my home country. Thankfully, a friend introduced me to MotherByFaith’s Mom2Mom community Joining was the best decision I’ve made since moving here. From the very first meeting, I felt relieved, relaxed, and genuinely happy. For the first time, I felt at home. It was deeply fulfilling to know that within the group, there was also praying community of mothers walking this journey together. Within this community, there is love, there is sisterhood. I remember a time I needed help and reached out to the mamas in my quadrant. So many mamas reached out to assist me so quickly and warmly. I truly felt blessed. I encourage every mama, or mama-to-be, to join this community. It’s impactful, supportive, and full of heart." — Ify

I’m so grateful for the love and support I experienced from MotherByFaith even before the community was officially formed. A few days before I had my baby, Dayo came over with her children to check on me. We spent time chatting, folding baby clothes, and putting away groceries. It was such a simple yet meaningful moment of connection. A couple of weeks later, Dayo returned to watch my little one while I attended an interview. That same day, Fola, a friend of my sister who would later become part of the MotherByFaith community and even volunteer in her quadrant on her very first day, stopped by to visit. She ended up holding my baby so I could take a much-needed nap. During that season, Dayo was juggling her own two children, just two years old and four months old at the time, yet she still made time to show up for new moms like me. On another occasion, when I was feeling completely worn out, I sent her a message, and she invited me over for a chat, a warm meal, and a nap. I remember telling her during that visit that it seemed she was called to a ministry in motherhood. Even though I had a postpartum doula supporting me, these moments of genuine care and friendship meant everything to me.
