Hi Mama ❤️
Sometimes the truth we need to hear is the very last thing we want to hear.
As we step into a new season, I just want to encourage you to press on, regardless of what life currently looks like.
The high calling of motherhood often asks us to lay parts of ourselves down. It can feel like surrender. Surrender of time, comfort, rest, or even identity. In Philippians 3, Paul shares how he gave up things like comfort, title, prestige, and wealth to pursue his higher calling.
In many ways, motherhood is the same kind of surrender.
Some days it feels easy. Other days, it feels like the very thing that once brought joy is now testing your strength.
The sleepless nights of the newborn stage. The crankiness of teething. The willpower of toddlers discovering their independence. The complexities of raising teenagers with changing emotions and opinions.
And then there are the unseen challenges. Things like strained family relationships, demanding jobs, financial limitations, or simply the feeling that you’ve lost yourself in the process.
It can make you wonder: “Why did I get myself into this?” It can make another mother’s life look easier. It can make another mama’s race seem more desirable.
But Mama, I encourage you to press on.
Press on when the days feel long and the nights feel endless. Press on when comparison creeps in and whispers that you’re falling behind. Press on when you can’t see the fruit of your labor yet.
Because your calling is sacred. Because your garden, your family, your purpose, your journey, is worth tending.
So today, I encourage you:
Resolve to tend your own garden. Press on.
Choose to be content with your assignment. Press on.
Choose gratitude. Press forward.
Every moment of motherhood—both the chaos and the calm—is shaping you into the woman you were designed to be.
